WatchPorcelain Veneers
Paper-thin shells, a completely different smile: porcelain veneers
Bonded to the front of your teeth, porcelain veneers are paper-thin ceramic shells that fix cosmetic issues instantly that would otherwise take years of orthodontics, or might not be correctable at all. Crooked, stained, chipped, misshapen, or worn-down teeth can all become a flawless smile, often within just a couple of visits at Dr. Raffi General & Implant Dentistry.
The video shows how it comes together. Teeth are gently prepared first, sometimes with nothing more than light buffing, to make room for the veneers, an impression is taken, and the dental lab fabricates your custom shells while a temporary set protects your teeth in the meantime. Once the permanent veneers are ready, a follow-up visit bonds them in place and adjusts them to look completely natural.
Two main types exist. Traditional veneers need a small amount of enamel prepared for a precise fit, while no-prep veneers are ultra-thin and bond directly to existing enamel, often without any drilling at all. The right approach comes down to your goals and the condition of your teeth, which your dentist will help sort out.
Few cosmetic treatments in dentistry transform a smile as dramatically as veneers do. Schedule a consultation if you've ever wished your smile looked different, and we'll walk you through the options and show you what a new smile could look like for you.
