WatchMini Dental Implants

A smaller implant that opens up more options

Take a traditional implant and shrink it down, and you get a mini dental implant, a version that opens up treatment for patients who otherwise wouldn't qualify. Needing less bone width to place, they frequently work in situations where a traditional implant would first call for extensive bone grafting. Depending on the case, they can replace a single tooth, several teeth, or dramatically stabilize a loose denture.

The versatility shows up clearly in this video. A single missing tooth gets one small implant topped with a custom crown. Several missing teeth can be supported by a bridge anchored to a series of minis. And for patients wearing a full denture, four to six mini implants can turn a wobbly, slipping fit into one that snaps securely into place, adhesive included.

Most patients complete treatment in one visit with only mild discomfort and are back to normal activity the same day. The smaller diameter and gentler placement approach explain why patients so often report less swelling and a quicker recovery compared with traditional implants.

Been told you don't have enough bone for implants, or simply want the less invasive route? A consultation at Dr. Raffi General & Implant Dentistry will tell you whether mini implants fit your case.
